Technosun in Sozopol
Among the projects for 30 kWp we have more fun projects – in this case a public procurement of a system for own needs. The investor understood the longevity of the investment and the renovation of the roof waterproofing was included in the order. This is highly recommended to do. Sometimes, we have refused to install panels on visibly old and compromised insulation. This is a risk for both – the client and us. The unpleasant part of this project was that we had to finish the insulation December-January in cold and rainy weather, and bitumen insulation does not like it at all. Luckily we had a few sunny and warm days and laid it down. Public procurement does not involve creativity, because any change requires a lot of administrative action. But the project was one of the few well-designed public photovoltaic projects. Perhaps it is important to say that the funding for the photovoltaic plant comes from Shell, as a reverence for drilling in the Black Sea
